McKintoye KidMark

Delete account

This page explains how a KidMark parent or guardian can request account deletion, adult-account removal, ownership transfer, or full-household deletion.

In-app deletion instructions

In KidMark, open Account and Privacy, choose Delete Account, review the household impact, and confirm the request while signed in as the adult account owner.

External deletion request

If you cannot access the app, contact KidMark Support at support@mckintoye.com. Include the adult account email and the type of deletion request. Do not submit passwords, verification codes, payment details, or sensitive child data.

Adult account and household options

Adult account removal can remove the requesting adult from KidMark while preserving an active household when another authorized adult can own it. Ownership transfer may be used before removal so a household is not orphaned.

Full-household deletion removes the household, child profiles, missions, submissions, approval history, rewards, and family progress views tied to that household.

Deleted and retained data

Deleted data may include parent profile details, child display profiles, missions, Marks activity, submissions, feedback, recurrence settings, and household configuration.

Some records may be retained or pseudonymized when needed for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, audit integrity, dispute handling, or financial and operational records. Retention durations depend on the reason for retention and are kept no longer than necessary for that purpose.

KidMark aims to process deletion requests within 30 days unless a legal, security, or operational reason requires more time.
